FanDuel will soon make history in sports broadcasting by taking over Diamond Sports Group channels as of baseball season 2021, replacing Bally Sports brand previously known. This transition takes place amid Diamond’s bankruptcy proceedings and marks an exciting new chapter for their company.

Introducing FanDuel Sports Network

FanDuel Sports Network will rebrand to Diamond Sports as FanDuel Sports Network on October 21, 2024; marking an important step forward for sports broadcasting. Unfortunately, details regarding its financial aspects remain confidential as Diamond Sports has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since March 2023 and public records indicate an incredible $8.67 billion debt load.

The Future of Regional Sports Broadcasting

The transformation will see Diamond’s network of 16 regional sports channels adopting the FanDuel Sports Network moniker. This includes networks that have been home to eight Major League Baseball teams, eight NFL teams, and 13 NBA teams under the Bally Sports banner.
