Tank Dell’s Knee Injury Update: Support Flows in from Patrick Mahomes

Recent news out of Houston locker room sheds bad news about wide receiver Tank Dell. On Saturday during a high stakes game against Kansas, Dell experienced significant knee damage after landing a 30-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud against them, prompting hospital personnel to immediately put his left leg into an air cast before carting him off and sending to University of Kansas Hospital for evaluation.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reports Dell has suffered a dislocated kneecap which may require surgery; although surgery remains an option, no official decision has yet been reached on it. Head Coach DeMeco Ryans stated Dell would stay in Kansas City for further evaluation; Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed well wishes to Stroud by saying, “Prayers for Tank.” To which Stroud responded with, “Appreciate that. God bless you brother”. Dell’s injury strikes hard as they work towards playoff eligibility;
