Haydn Fleury made an unforgettable impactful in an intense and closely contested matchup, scoring his first goal since November in helping lead Winnipeg Jets to an unforgettable 3-2 win against St Louis Blues. Additionally, Fleury contributed with an assist to help his team take home victory with ease.

Fleury got the Jets off to a quick start by scoring just 2:31 into the first period. This goal was especially significant for the defenseman, who had been without a goal for 64 games since joining Winnipeg as a free agent in July 2024. His previous goal came on December 19, 2023, while playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. In addition to scoring, Fleury recorded his first assist of the season, signaling a promising return to form.

The Blues, coming off a seven-game points streak, saw Dalibor Dvorsky and Dylan Holloway score, but their efforts fell short. Goalie Jordan Binnington faced 16 shots and managed to keep the game close, though ultimately the Blues could not overcome the Jets’ lead.

As the game continued, Kyle Connor celebrated his 33rd birthday by scoring during a delayed penalty at 8:07 remaining, masterfully passing it past Binnington to extend Winnipeg’s lead from 3-1 to 4-2. Although Holloway scored late with 51 seconds remaining to narrow their deficit back down to 3-2, Winnipeg maintained their edge and held on for victory.
