Mikko Rantanen was the star of the night for Colorado Avalanche as they defeated Los Angeles Kings 4-2 with Mikko scoring twice in the third period for an outstanding 9th career hat trick and 4-2 win. Rantanen scored at around the 10 minute mark of third period to give Colorado their advantage before sealing it with an empty-net goal late on to complete two consecutive hat tricks this season and secure another successful game plan win!

Artturi Lehkonen scored one goal and Alexandar Georgiev made 13 saves to keep Colorado competitive, while Nathan MacKinnon extended his point streak to 16 out of 17 games, including every home matchup, with three assists extending to 16 straight contests this year!
For the Kings, Darcy Kuemper made 18 saves before leaving the game due to an injury early in the third period, and David Rittich stepped in with three saves. Adrian Kempe was a key player for the Kings, scoring two goals, the first just 32 seconds into the match.
