The 2025 NWSL season is fast approaching, bringing 14 teams for 26 competitive matches and plenty of anticipation among coaches, players, and especially newcomers like Alanna Kennedy (Angel City). She recently switched teams after leaving Manchester City Women’s Super League earlier in pre-season; after making Angel City her new home and signing an extension deal that could extend into 2026; even so, Kennedy finds solace among her new teammates despite all this pressure!
Gen-Z star Alyssa Thompson has the ability to ease tension among teammates. To build team unity and foster greater cohesiveness, teammates often engage in bonding activities such as making TikTok videos; Thompson recently led this activity alongside colleagues Kennedy and Zelem in creating one such dance video featuring Sleepy Hallow’s song Anxiety; they all followed her lead with their signature steps including Thompson leading with her signature shimmy step which quickly replicated by Zelem and Kennedy – giving birth to some truly fun dancing footage!
The video’s hilarious ending highlights their playful relationship. When Thompson begins her jump and turn, Zelem and Kennedy follow suit but with backs turned as each performs their unique dance move – until Thompson goes so far as to act annoyed about Zelem and Kennedy dancing with each other! Zelem captioning their scene by writing, ‘She got us dancing!” perfectly sums up this fun video.
This delightful interaction among teammates symbolizes more than simply a break from daily activity; it shows the value of team chemistry and support – especially as newcomers like Kennedy prepare to debut matches for their debut matches in season 2019. Such engagements strengthen team unity and morale throughout season 2019.
