Oleksandr Zinchenko’s time at Arsenal could soon come to a close as the Ukrainian defender is thought to be searching for new opportunities elsewhere. After three years with North London side Arsenal and living at Emirates Stadium reportedly willing to assist with his departure.
Zinchenko appears to be garnering interest from clubs both within Serie A and Bundesliga, and valuation talks suggest an estimated transfer valuation between PS10-15 million for this versatile full-back. Unfortunately his annual wages of PS5 million could prove detrimental in certain instances when financial constraints exist for their clubs.
Serie A Interest in Zinchenko
In Italy, both AC Milan and Juventus have shown interest in Zinchenko. AC Milan views him as a potential reinforcement for their left side, capable of playing either as a full-back or in a more advanced position. On the other hand, Juventus is currently focusing on younger prospects for their squad’s long-term planning, which could make their interest in Zinchenko less likely in comparison.
Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga is also keeping an eye on Zinchenko’s situation. The German club is looking to bring in experienced players to bring balance to their squad, and Zinchenko’s profile appears to fit their requirements.
Arteta Confident in Internal Replacement
At Arsenal, Mikel Arteta appears to be placing great faith in academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly to step in following his impressive development. Zinchenko only appeared 15 times last season due to this internal solution and now it seems likely he may exit as Arsenal seeks to revamp their squad ahead of this upcoming campaign.
Thomas Partey could join Zinchenko as potential departures this summer as Arsenal make changes ahead of its next campaign.
